Fairways Defence Raya commercial plazas in DHA Lahore are located at 150 ft wide Avenue 8 of Defence Raya Phase 6. Defence Raya is strategically located between Phase 6 and 7 and the commercial plazas are located on the junction of Avenue 8 and Avenue 1.

Design and layout (10/10)
It is interesting to note that the entire area is designed for retail outlets. It is well planned, organized and purpose built project, offering ample parking areas and walkways for easier access.

Parking (10/10)
There is a lot of parking available for visitors, including an option for a basement car park. In other words there will always be room for more and as car parking is one of the most important features of any commercial zone, this is the best feature of this retail area project in Defence Raya.

Amenities (9/10)
If the above is not enough this one is most certainly the deal maker when it comes to this project. It is important to remember that this is not an isolated project. Defence Raya houses include some 2000 houses in its Phase 1 , 2 and 3 and right next to the Defence Raya commercial plazas we have following:
- Grand Piaza
- Indoor shopping mall
- Cinema
- Defence Raya club
- Swimming pool
We will give 9 out of 10 to the developers for these awesome amenities.
Entertainment (9/10)
This commercial plaza project is just one of the many projects underway in Defence Raya at the moment which is being built as the most elite activities area in Lahore. Defence Raya club is just next door with a swimming pool and a lot other activities. Some great dining options, Kids play area and cinema are also part of the entire entertainment package.

Pricing and buying plans (10/10)
Undeniable and unbeatable progressive payment plans give you safety to pay only if there is any construction progress on your commercial plaza. Besides this the prices are really low and you need to remember that the total price includes the construction of the entire building and not just land. In other words the cost of construction of an 8 Marla commercial plaza is 3 to 3.5 crores.

Marketing Strategy (7/10)
Defence Raya commercial plazas is a project of DHA Lahore and BRDB Malaysia but due to limited number of commercials available we do not see a huge ongoing marketing campaign. DHA Lahore is a brand name which is trusted by millions and most projects can easily be sold without a nation wide campaigns. Although a nation wide campaign would certainly build a positive vibe and raise the prices but DHA does not believe in price bubbles and therefore not following such policies.
7 out of 10 in this one as it is a mix of good and bad but generally very good approach for mid term and long term investors.
Resale Value (10/10)
Once completed the Fairways Defence Raya commercial plazas will have a very good resale value , specially that it has been launched at a very reasonable price. I believe it will give hefty profits to the investors involved and there is a possibility of more than 50 to 100 % increase in its prices over the next 5 years.

Construction & quality (9/10)
So far so good but we have yet to see the interior of the building so while i would have surely given it a 10 , but i will wait till we see further progress. The builders are surely making sure not to compromise on time schedules and quality. The building is earthquake proof.

Developers (9/10)
With huge brand names such as DHA Lahore and international developers behind the project we would have no issues giving this project a 10 out of 10. However quality of previous development of Defence Raya houses in Phase 1 was just satisfactory. Although the quality has significantly improved in Phase 2 and 3 and we expect BRDB to deliver high quality project this time around specially because this is just a plaza and does not include all the small details needed for house construction.
